Susan Varnum, Ph.D. has served as an IRB member on the Central-DOEIRB since 2018. Previously she had served as the co-chair of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) IRB and she currently serves as the PNNL Human Research Protections Program Manager. Prior to holding these positions, Susan had been a Senior Research Scientist at PNNL working in the molecular biosciences. She received her Ph.D. from Brandeis University.
