Amanda C. Jointer has an established career in research administration with 26 years of experience, 15 of which has been with Wayne States University’s IRB Administration Office. Amanda is a Wayne State Warrior and completed both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Wayne State University. Amanda is the IRB Operations Manager and is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of WSU’s IRB Administration Office, as well as serving as the Research Subject Advocate.
Amanda leads a staff of dedicated administrative professionals whose primary goal is to protect research participants, as well as support IRB reviewers in the review process, implementation of electronic systems, and assisting researchers in navigating through the IRB regulatory and procedural requirements. In her leisure, Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends and is an avid movie watcher with her husband.
