Kanti Crain, MA, MBA, CIP, is the Assistant Director of the Human Research Protection Program at Indiana University (IU). She started her research compliance career at Indiana University in 2012, and jumped to a Liberal Arts institution, Butler University in 2017 where their human subjects research focused on Social behavioral research. Her role at Butler University was primarily developing, overseeing, and monitoring the University's Research Compliance programs including research involving human subjects, animals, and biosafety.
In 2019, She returned to Indiana University’s Human Research Protection Program. Indiana University is a large research university conducting both biomedical and social, behavioral, and educational research. In this role, she is responsible for daily operational oversight of the minimal risk biomedical team. Kanti has graduate degrees in health communication from Indiana University and a Masters of Business Administration from Butler University.
