Suzanne Stone, MA, CIP, has been engaged in human and animal research ethics and compliance since 2003. She formally joined the University of California Berkeley's Office for Protection of Human Subjects (OPHS) in 2017, and concurrently works with the Office for Animal Care and Use (OACU), and is the administrator for the Stem Cell Research Oversight (SCRO) Committee. Suzanne earned her BS in Zoology, BA in Religious Studies and MA in Geography, working with a range of animals from honeybees to manatees. Suzanne is dedicated to research ethics, autonomy and the protection of research subjects.
Suzanne's first session proposal was presented at PRIM&R in 2007, and she has happily been presenting the full range of topics ever since.
